AET AFRICA is 55 % youth and women owned, level 2 & 80% BEE Start-up Company with offices in East London and manufacturing plant in Dimbaza, Eastern Cape. The company is owned by a trio with more than 20 years accumulative experience in the manufacturing space and business management. The company was formed in 2012 and since then AET AFRICA has been able to conduct research, paying particular attention to how to conserve, reuse and improve water heating mechanisms that consider the African climate and socioeconomic environment. Over the years AET trio identified value chain opportunities in the environment conservation space through their product mix to promote “conservation, renew and reuse of existing raw material and products.
AET innovate and manufacturer clean technology, energy efficiency products for water heating (high pressure geysers) and (non) woven packaging bags made out of recycled and virgin PPE plastic materials. The company target market are residential, commercial and industrial users. Our main products and innovations are in the water heating space targeting high pressure electricity geysers and solar geysers. Our products offer minimum electricity savings of 20%-30% and improve efficiency of both cooling and water heating. The company has won several awards in energy efficiency and innovation and have strategic partnerships

The company is focusing on local innovation paying particular attention to how to conserve, reuse and improve water-heating mechanisms that consider the African climate and socioeconomic environment. Our products are customised for socioeconomic conditions of our target market primarily retrofit market for reuse the wasted heat, provide accessibility and affordable hot water to ordinary South Africans and further pasteurise the water. We focus on simplifying the product offering without compromising on quality yet remain affordable and reach the marginalised market.
